what is that job called where you make movie trailers for movies?? You Know like the job cameron dias has in that movie the holiday?? well anyways what is that job called??

3. That's part of the Editor's job I believe.

5. It's a collaborative effort of the editor, director, producers, and the marketing team. Honestly there is no one person who assembles a trailer, except for no budget independent films (where the director is also the editor, producer, actor, ect.). But if you have any sort of budget, it's a combined effort of at least the editor and director. I didn't see "The Holiday", but from my experience and to the best of my knowledge, it's a collaborative effort.
