Need help from movie buffs?

My situation: Clark is in love with me, but we've always had a brother/sister type relationship. I am in love with my fiance. Clark being in love with me is a recent revelation. He asked me to write a paper for him for his English class in exchange for doing my math homework. I agreed. Now I have to write this paper. It's a movie review. I want to write the paper on a movie that would talk about this situation so that I subtly let him know how i feel while writing him a quality paper. my feelings are that this will never work but i still want you as a friend. the only movie i could think of was my best friend's wedding, but that won't work because in the end doesn't julia roberts get the guy? that would be the exact opposite direction in which i'm going. please help. thanks and no i have not seen made of honor so whatever the outcome of that one is it wont work because i cant write about something i havent seen. 10points to best answer. thanks in advance. i thought he ended up not marrying kimmie? my bad
