Recent Movie Reviews

What movie(s) have you recently rented/seen in the theatre which you felt was a total waste of time and money?

You know... when you leave the theatre, or after you finish the DVD, and you were either disgusted, disappointed, totally un-entertained, unsatisfied... etc... and you wish you could ask for your money back. WHAT movie(s)??? and WHY did it(they) disappoint you so? For myself, the most recent one was "Little Children." It had gotten "rave" reviews by critics, but I found it disgusting, uneven, plodding, and predictable.

  4. No Country for Old Men. don't bother.
  5. Vantage Point. Crap.
  6. Napoleon dynamite. i left 30 min. into the movie and got my money back. it was pointless, it wasnt even funny.
  7. blond and blonder OMG.....F&@* i don't know why i watched it, i don't know what was going through my head but i sat through 1.5 hours of complete gag worthy acting and that movie was probably written by apes. Basically, the whole movie was a shit collision.
  8. That would be: "Diary of a Canabal", "Wrong Turn 2", and "UKM (ultimate killing machine)". Wanted my time and money back!
  9. Ugh, i did not like Halloween, the one with him as a little kid, i just though it was horrible, some people said they liked it but in my opinion it was not good at all, to me, i could have waited for that to come on regular cable.
  10. Pirates of the Carribbean 3 All the stupid plot twists, I was squirming in my seat asking "when is this going to end?" The story kept changing to different focuses, got sickly romantic, even perverted at some points. I wanted more flash, but I got a lot of .. crap. Not the right spark between characters, it looked like every actor just wanted to go home, and I wanted to go home too.
  11. I haven't seen a good movie since The Passion of Christ, Titanic, Wedding Singer, or Perry Tyler movies were shown. I liked those and the rest I did not think was so good. Walk out of most of them. Actually some of the "black" movies hold my interest. They have a moral to them and are comical. I don't go to R rated movies ever. The language turns me off. Oh yes I loved Phantom of the Opera
  12. I decided without going to " The Other Boleyn Girl " that it would be a waste, not interested in seeing sisters making love to the same man. It was rated ( P G-13 ) pa leeze! Don't our kids see & hear too much, at too young an age? Oh well, any way to get our money, huh? Evie
