A few questions about the upcoming Spyro movie.?

A movie rendition of Spyro is apparently in the works, and slated for a release this year, according to iMDB. My question is, does anyone know whether this will be based on the original games, or the Legend of Spyro trilogy? Also, is it a sequel/new plot, or just a cinematic remake of one of the games? And last, is there any idea of WHEN this year it will be out? Thanks =]
